
This tutorial is a quick insight into how to get the most out of the new ShapeShifter Set 3 extension for Adobe Fireworks 3. We will show the workflow for using the extensions as a basis for creating some clean Web 2.0 badges for use in your designs.

So, let's get straight into it.
- Open Adobe Fireworks 8 or Adobe Fireworks CS3 if not already open.
- Create a new document (Ctrl+N), go with either the default canvas settings, or enter your own size. In this example we have used a large canvas to give us some room for maneouvering.
- If you haven't already installed ShapeShifter Set 3, install the extension by double clicking the MXP that was emailed to you after you purchased the product.
- Select 'Commands > Demon Towers > ShapeShifter Set 3. This should open the interface for ShapeShifter Set 3

- Select one of the Web 2.0 Badges that suits your needs, and click on it to add it to the canvas, in this case we are going to make a simple 'Sale' badge.
- Either leave the shading as is, or modify to suit your needs using the sub-select and fill colors. In this example, I've changed the coloring to a red shade.

- Add some text to suit your needs, rotate using the Scale Tool (Q), whether your sale item is armadillos or zebras, use you imagination to add some eye catching text!

- Within a few minutes, you can have some speedy Web 2.0 badges adorning your designs! Simply add to your design, and export the finished article as required!
